Since young, Sandra grew up surrounded with the smell of paint in the house, and she remembers the consistent vision of her mother sitting in front of a canvas creating another one of her masterpieces of the great Canadian Rockies. Art has always been, and will always be an integral part of Sandra's life.
Diverse experiences have contributed to her development as an artist. Her background as a photographer has trained her eye for detail. Since the completion of the Visual Arts Certificate from the University of Alberta, she has stretched her boundaries of exploration to new mediums and technique. Sandra's love for travel around the world from Asia to Europe has also inspired her and given her more exposure to new experiences and different forms of art around the world.
Through her continuous education and own life's experiences, Sandra moves closer to reaching her goal of being able to communicate what is on her mind through her art. She believes that artistry is a lifelong journey, and it is through this journey that one can can find the freedom to explore and create.
